If you are under 18 years of age your case will commence in the Youth Court. Different rules apply in the Youth Court to the Magistrates’ Court. Our Solicitors will guide you through the process explaining everything clearly.

Youth Court cases:

It is expected that the vast majority of cases will be concluded at the first hearing or after a second where a case is put back for reports – usually within four weeks.  If a not guilty plea is entered, then a period of four to eight weeks is sufficient time to arrange and hold a trial but this will depend upon the likely length of a trial.

If you or a member of your family has been asked to attend this court then please get in touch.
